Dr. Boza earned his DDS certificate in Costa Rica in 2004 before practicing for five years in both government and private dental settings.

He then moved to Rochester, New York, where he completed three years of specialty training in prosthodontics at Eastman Institute for Oral Health, followed by a one-year fellowship in implant dentistry, including the placement and rehabilitation of dental implants.

Dr. Boza also holds an MBA in Medical Business Administration from Universidad de Santa Paula in Costa Rica. After completing his specialist training, he was recruited to teach prosthetics and cosmetics at the University of Iowa Dental School, where he helped educate future dentists in dentures, crowns, clinical prosthetics and laboratory-based restorative dentistry.
