Meet Our Team

Jackie relocated to South Florida in 2021 for her role as our Business Administrator/CFO and Administrative Team Lead. She is our insurance guru and go-to with all insurance questions, with over 20 years of dental experience in all aspects of the administrative side. She assists patients with their dental benefit questions, provides them with clear treatment plans and transparent financial obligations, and supports and leads our team of fabulous administrative professionals. She also enjoys helping patients to utilize their dental benefits for maximum benefits each year. She is thankful for the opportunities given to her for continuous growth as an amazing, supportive team surrounds her. Jackie has been an AADOM member for eight years.

When not working, Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband as well as her two beautiful pups. Jackie is enjoying their ever-growing family with currently three grandchildren in two different states, with more on the horizon. Jackie is active in her local church as well as a children’s charity in Memphis. When not working, Jackie has a busy social calendar with trips to see her grandchildren and three adult children, not to mention attending concerts, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family. Jackie loves to laugh and having a fun time, and someday would love to take a Mediterranean cruise.

Barb is a seasoned vet when it comes to being around dentistry. She chose dentistry 41 years ago because she believes that a beautiful smile changes lives. She has a genuine love for people and cares about helping others.

Barb’s dental career has included general dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, and treatment coordination. Barb’s current position has her overseeing the Seaside and Seabreeze study club!

When she is not working, Barb stays busy as the lead singer in a local band called The RBJ Band. She also enjoys spending time with her husband. Her zest for life and having fun is apparent to all who have encountered her. One thing on her bucket list is traveling to Europe. Her go-to Spotify playlist includes Karen Souza Jazz, Blues, and Pop music!

With over a decade of experience in dentistry, Ally began her career as a dental assistant, working hands-on with patients for 13 years before transitioning into Human Resources. As the HR Generalist at Garine & Boza Prosthodontics she is enthusiastic about supporting our team, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring that our employees feel valued and empowered. She works closely with leadership to create an environment where everyone can thrive, helping to build a strong, committed team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Outside of work, Ally loves cooking, dancing, and spending quality time with her family. Her son keeps her and her husband on their toes, and they spend most of their free time outdoors – whether playing sports or on a family fishing trip.

Lupe is our Clinical Team Lead and has traveled to classes to become our digital designer in our lab. She takes the most pride in this part of her work and the designs she can create, fabricate, and print.

Lupe loves that the practice gives her vast opportunities to gain experience in the dental field and the various specializations in the industry. She also loves being able to help patients have an amazing smile while learning new methods to achieve such treatment. Lupe chose to go into the dental industry because of the complexity of the field that many think is simple.

When not working, Lupe enjoys spending time with her family, as well as going to the beach whenever possible and visiting family members. Someday she would like to travel to many different destinations.

Jay is a Florida native and of Caribbean descent. She received her EFDA at a local academy here in West Palm Beach. Dentistry has always been something she enjoyed, from being a patient and now working in the field. She recalls in grade school on career day, she saw a female dentist and her assistant explaining the importance of oral health. Their passion for educating and helping others who simply just do not know was an eye-opening experience that inspired her.

They demonstrated the repercussions of what could happen and how they transformed smiles for cosmetic reasons. From then on, Jay knew dentistry was for her. She is now able to hear amazing stories from her patients and encounter challenges that apply to her day-to-day life. For Jay, it is all about balance and perception.

In her spare time, Jay enjoys going on long walks with her partner and their Golden-doodle, Gordo. The proud couple recently became new parents in January 2025 and have now added their little guy on those long, adventurous walks. They also enjoy trying new local restaurants and spending time together with their new family.

Grettel has been a dental assistant for over a decade, a career that has shaped her work ethic and sense of responsibility. She has developed an in-depth knowledge of dental care, patient comfort, and technical skills. Her career not only allows her to help others but also gives her the chance to have a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of every single patient.

A mother to a 3-year-old little girl, Grettel enjoys going to the beach, going on picnics, exploring water parks, and even crafting. Whether it is working out, exploring new fitness routines, or educating herself on the latest health trends, she constantly strives to improve her physical and mental well-being. Born in Havana, Cuba she takes immense pride in her heritage and is skilled at preparing delicious and authentic Cuban dishes that remind her of her family back home. Grettel is a self-professed coffee enthusiast who loves exploring different coffee shops, coffee varieties and savoring the aroma and taste that each cup brings.

From an early age, Mariah had a passion for dentistry because of her love for taking care of people and making them feel welcome. Mariah has been part of the practice for over 16 years, starting at the front desk in administration before transitioning to a dental assistant role, where she has thrived for the past five years.

As a Palm Beach native, Mariah takes pride in serving her community and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for. Her goal is to help patients achieve a healthy, confident smile they can proudly share with others. She has been happily married for 25 years, and they have one wonderful son. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the outdoors, and going on new adventures. She looks forward to continuing to grow her dental knowledge and provide exceptional care to our patients at Garine & Boza Prosthodontics.

Luna joined the team in March of 2023 as a Dental Assistant. Luna chose to pursue a career in dentistry because she wanted to help people transform their smiles!

When Luna is not at work, she enjoys soaking up the sun and going to the beach. One thing she has on her bucket list is to go skydiving.

As a dedicated dental hygienist, Lorena is committed to providing exceptional preventative oral care while emphasizing the vital connection between oral health and overall well-being. She deeply values her patients’ health and comfort, always striving to create a positive and relaxing dental experience.

Since joining Garine Prosthodontics in 2018, Lorena has specialized in preventative care within a focused restorative dental setting. She thrives on the challenges of her field and takes pride in guiding her patients toward a healthy, balanced approach to oral care. Lorena also appreciates being part of a supportive dental team, where the doctors encourage both personal and professional growth.

Outside of work, Lorena cherishes time at home with her husband, Rafael, their daughters, Julia, and Emilia, and their two Great Danes. She loves traveling across the U.S. and abroad, creating meaningful memories with her little ones. Looking ahead, Lorena plans to advance her Dental Hygiene degree, aiming to expand her scope of practice and further enhance and promote healthy lifestyles.

Erica is a dental hygienist who has worked at Garine & Boza Prosthodontics since 2001, where she helps patients achieve optimum oral health and builds lifelong relationships. She enjoys the ability she has at the practice to provide the highest level of care to her patients, as well as the team she works with, who inspire her every day. Erica is a certified registered dental hygienist who was inspired to go into the industry by her grandmother, who is a periodontist. Erica’s mom was also a surgical dental assistant.

When not working, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their two wild and crazy dogs. She also enjoys going surfing, camping, and walking her wild dogs. Someday she would love to circumnavigate the Caribbean on a sailboat with her best friends.

Anushka is an enthusiastic and dedicated dentist originally from London. She graduated in 2022 from the University of Leeds with a degree in dentistry, where she developed a strong commitment to helping people achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. After completing her studies, Anushka returned to London, where she practiced general and emergency dentistry, gaining hands-on experience and refining her skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

In 2022, Anushka married her wonderful husband and made the exciting decision to relocate to the United States. This move has allowed her to continue growing professionally while providing top-quality dental care. With a focus on personalized and compassionate treatment, Anushka is committed to ensuring each patient receives the best possible care, whether it is through routine hygiene appointments, addressing urgent dental issues, or offering advanced treatments.

Outside of dentistry, Anushka has a deep love for travel. She enjoys exploring new cultures, trying different cuisines, and discovering unique places around the world. This passion for travel inspires her to bring a global perspective to our practice, offering a warm and welcoming approach to every patient she interacts with.

Anushka’s dedication to dental health ensures that her patients are always well cared for.

Alissa started with our practice as a registered dental hygienist in 2007. She has taken that clinical knowledge and experience to apply to her position as Patient Care Specialist, coordinating Dr. Garine’s many complex cases. Her goal has always, and continues to be, to provide excellent care and education to optimize our clients’ personal health, including dental and overall health. When asked what made her want to pursue a career in dentistry, Alissa’s response was “The more I learned about it, the more I liked it!”

In caring for her patients, Alissa wants to help connect the dots between dental health and overall health. Her favorite part about her job is helping someone who has feelings of anxiety towards visiting the dentist, making them feel comfortable, and having them be excited to come back! “That makes my day.”

When she is not working, Alissa loves enjoying her husband’s cooking, hanging out with her Schnauzer/Jack Russell mix, George, on a long golf cart ride, tending her small garden, and volunteer-teaching free home bible study lessons.

Amber has been in the dental field since 2006. She started her dental career in Pediatric Dentistry for 13 years then moved into General Dentistry for 2 years and has been enjoying Prosthodontics since then. Over her years in dentistry, Amber has explored different avenues in the dental field. She has been a Dental Assistant, Patient Care Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator, and Management and Scheduling Coordinator. Her greatest joy in dentistry is seeing the meaningful change in the quality of life by providing exceptional dental care for our patients. She was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida.

Outside of the office, you may see her at the green markets or local festivals with her husband and their two girls. Amber also enjoys doing crafts with her daughters on the weekends. Her newest venture is making anything sourdough with her eldest daughter.

Katie is our newest edition to the team, bringing a wealth of customer service knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm to her role as patient coordinator. Katie chose to transition from her prior career into the dentistry field for the opportunity for long-term growth and fulfillment of her potential.

Katie was born and raised in South Florida and is a graduate of Park Vista High School and attended Palm Beach State. When not working, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and traveling. Greece is on her bucket list, as that is her heritage.
